LifeSciences BC is an industry association that supports and represents the life sciences community of British Columbia through leadership, facilitation of investment and partnering, advocacy, and promotion of world-class science and industry. Fusebox was asked to come on board the project. Our task involved orchestrating design sprints involving a spectrum of stakeholders to craft an encompassing design system. This system was meticulously tailored to integrate all stakeholder insights while embracing a streamlined and structured layout. During the development process, our focus was on establishing a clear hierarchy, simplifying navigation, and presenting information in an easily digestible format. Our objective was to optimize the website's usability, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for visitors navigating the platform. With stakeholder feedback and adhering to principles of clarity and organization, we successfully engineered a design system that resonates with the ethos of LifeSciences BC. The resulting website not only embodies the essence of the organization but also serves as a gateway for individuals seeking information or engagement within the life sciences landscape of British Columbia.
